While driving into Burlington, VT, we passed two places that I knew we had to get back to. One was the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory and the other was Vermont Cookie Love.
How can you not want to stop somewhere called Cookie Love? Especially when you’re pretty sure that your spirit animal is Cookie Monster and you’re a Hufflepuff, well known for loving cookies.
On our last day in the Burlington area we made our way to both. Here’s our experience at Vermont Cookie Love.

You pull up to the Love Shack and there’s a window to walk up and order for eating outside or you can head inside. We had left Truffles at the hotel for the morning, so we went inside. We were greeted by the smell of freshly baked cookies.

There are so many choices. First you have a variety of cookies to choose from, then you have to decide if you’re going to have your cookies straight or with ice cream.

I went with a Love-wich, a cookie ice cream sandwich – two cookies with a scoop of ice cream in between. Stephen went with a Cookie Dough Parfait – a ball of frozen chocolate chip cookie dough in the center of ice cream, hot fudge and whipped cream.

In addition to the ice cream treats, I grabbed a Forbidden Love (triple chocolate cookie) for later. There are drinks available for purchase – water, soda and milk. There’s also some merchandise and dog biscuits.

Vermont Cookie Love is right down the road from Vermont Teddy Bear Factory and it’s only 20 minutes or so from Burlington, VT. It’s definitely worth a stop for the delicious cookies and ice cream. Paul, the owner, was there and so you might get to meet the brains behind your Vermont Cookie Love affair.
