You can find all kinds of weird sculptures in Elberta, Alabama. There’s Bamahenge, Dinosaurs In The Woods and Lady In The Lake.
That’s not all though, as we found several more weird things when searching for those ones. There are four Knights In The Woods, a giant spider as well as a giant sundial.
Here’s what they all look like and how to find them all. They’re in order of where you’ll come across them when hunting out all the weird stuff in Elberta.
Giant Sundial
When hunting down the Dinosaurs In The Woods, the third one you’ll come across is the Stegosaurus. There’s a side road just past the dinosaur where you can pull in and park your car.
If you keep walking down the gravel road, you’ll come across a giant sundial. You won’t be able to get too close unfortunately as there’s a barrier with a no trespassing sign.

The GPS coordinates for the sundial are 30.326282, -87.576089; here’s a link to its location on Google Maps in case you want to get directions on your phone (it’s on Barber Parkway).
You can also find a satellite image of the giant sundial’s location below. The sundial is where the red pinpoint is placed, while the yellow circle is where you’ll find the Stegosaurus.

Giant Spider
After finding the dinosaurs, we went to look for the Lady In The Lake. On the way, we spotted a giant spider near Barber Marina.

The GPS coordinates for the spider are 30.313017, -87.573177; here’s a link to its location on Google Maps. To get there, drive to the end of Barber Parkway and turn right on Neptune Blvd. At the roundabout, take the first exit and then turn left on to Harpoon Dr. The spider’s on the right hand side, opposite the entrance to a parking lot.

The fun thing is that if you zoom in a little further on Google Maps, you can see the giant spider sculpture looking like it’s about to attack the marina.

Knights In The Woods
The four Knights In The Wood are found close to both the giant spider and Lady In The Lake. When driving down Neptune Blvd, I’d mentioned that you needed to take the first exit on to Harpoon Dr to find the spider.
To find the Knights In The Wood, you instead need to take the third exit (which is also Harpoon Dr). You’ll see a small wooded area on the right, so pull over by the side of the road. The knights are in there – two at one end and two at the other.

The GPS coordinates of the knights are 30.315045, -87.570822; here’s a link to their location on Google Maps.
And here’s what they look like:

There are four knights in total and they appear to be identical. The only difference between them is that one of the knights is missing his lower right leg.

Why can’t you get closer to the sundial
There was some kind of barrier along with a sign requesting that visitors didn’t go any closer. It might be that people kept climbing over it, so they’ve done that to protect it. It’s a shame as it would’ve been nice to have seen it even closer.
This was so very helpful. My family and I would have been lost without you!
