Having checked out Bamahenge and Dinosaurs In The Woods, Shae and I set our sights on finding the Lady In The Lake.
As with those other structures and sculptures we’d seen earlier, she was created by artist Mark Cline and funded by local businessman George Barber.
I’m going to assume that if you’re wanting to visit Lady In The Lake, you’ll have visited Bamahenge and Dinosaurs In The Woods too. From those, continue driving down Barber Parkway to the end of the road and turn right on Neptune Boulevard.
That’ll lead you to a roundabout with three exits. When trying to find her ourselves, we took the first exit and ended up in a parking lot. We could see her but it was from a distance and to the side. It therefore wasn’t a great view (the photo below was zoomed in), but we realized it’s possible to get closer.

Instead of taking the first exit at the roundabout, take the second one. After that, take the first left turn and drive through to the parking lot where you should leave your car.
From there, walk down to the marina, head around to the left and follow the path to the end. You can then go down a ramp and along the floating walkway to the end of the dock where the Lady In The Lake will be straight in front of you.
Here’s a map of the route to take. The red line starting from the top is where you’ll be driving, while the blue line is the section that you walk. The green circle is where the Lady In The Lake is chilling out.

And here she is:

February 2021 Alas she was washed away during Hurricane Sally. As we’re many on the long docks at the marina.
Oh no, that’s a shame, but even more of a shame about all the boats and docks that were ruined 🙁
